Our Vision:

Ensure that Veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

Who & where we are….

The Post was founded on May 5th 1936 and has been under a continuous Charter with the VFW since that time. The original site of the post was in downtown Glen Burnie, MD. In the 1940’s the post received a new home at its current location still located in Glen Burnie, MD.

The Post is conviently located near BWI Airport, Arundel Mills Mall and Ft Meade MD.

We are open to Members and their Guests from Noon to 8pm Monday Thru Thursday, Noon to 10pm on Friday and Saturdays and Noon to 6pm on Sundays. The Canteen offers both Food and a Full Service Bar.

In 2026 we will celebrate our 90th Anniversary!
